Common questions

Will my court accept this class?

Your court decides which classes it accepts. Check your court order for the class type and number of hours, and if you're unsure, ask your attorney, probation officer or the court clerk before you enroll. Each certificate can be checked by the court in seconds.

Can I stop and come back later?

Yes. Your progress is saved after every lesson, and the time you've already spent stays counted. Pick up from "My classes".

Why does my time stop counting?

Courts expect real time on task, so time only counts while the lesson is open on your screen and you've been active in the last two minutes. Scroll, tap or press a key and it resumes.

Can I take the class in Spanish?

Yes. Choose Español at the top of any page and the whole class switches to Spanish, lessons and quizzes included. Your certificate is always issued in English, and notes the language you took the class in.

What happens if I fail a quiz?

You can retake it as many times as you need. You need 80% to pass, and the answers are shuffled each time.

When do I get my certificate?

Right after you finish the last lesson and sign the completion statement. You can download it immediately, and share its verification link.

My order is related to domestic violence. Is this the right class?

Probably not. In California, domestic violence orders usually require a batterer's intervention program approved by county probation. An anger management class does not replace it. Ask your probation officer which program you need.

Who can see my information?

You, your assigned facilitator and our administrators. The public verification page shows only your name, the course, the dates, the court and the last 4 characters of your case number.
