What you can check, and how
Every certificate we issue can be confirmed in seconds, by anyone, without creating an account.
Verify a certificate →Verify a certificate
- 1Scan the QR code on the certificate, or go to our verification page.
- 2Or enter the certificate number and the participant's last name.
- 3You'll see VALID or REVOKED, with the details below.
What the verification page shows
- Participant's full name
- Course, type and credit hours
- Completion date
- Court, county and state
- Last 4 characters of the case number
- The facilitator, credentials and license number (when they hold one)
- Language the course was taken in
How completion is enforced
- Lessons unlock in order; nothing can be skipped.
- Each lesson has a minimum time. Time is credited only from check-ins our servers receive while the lesson is open on screen: at most 30 seconds per check-in, and never more than the real time that has passed. Every check-in is logged.
- Quizzes require 80% to pass. Answers are shuffled on every attempt.
- The participant signs a completion statement under penalty of perjury before a certificate is issued.
- Certificates can be revoked. A revoked certificate shows REVOKED on the verification page.
Not a batterer's intervention program
Our anger management class does not replace a probation-approved batterer's intervention program. Enrollment asks whether the order is connected to domestic violence, and does not enroll anyone who answers yes or not sure.
